Our Story

The Real Election was created out of pure passion for change. Everything you see here has taken countless hours and has been nothing short of a labor of love for our country and it’s amazing people. All associated expenses, labor, and maintenance have been contributed by one person, me.

When I first started the real election in 2016, I literally had only $16 in my bank account, and used it to buy this domain and got to work building the site. Because I only had $16, I was forced to choose between buying the .com domain or .org and made the decision to go with the .org. Not long after my initial domain purchase, I went back to try and buy the .com and of course, someone had already snagged it. Earlier this year the owner of the .com reached out and offered to sell it to me for nearly 3 thousand dollars. OUCH!

With your help, I would like to secure that domain to alleviate any conflict of interest. In addition, your funds will go towards the annual expenses it takes to keep the machine running, and as a financial resource for funding The Real Elections campaign endeavors.
